I gotta be honest: I dyed my dark blonde hair a bit darker last week, and now Margot Robbie is making me regret it! The Wuthering Heights star went brighter and shorter with her bob, and it may just inspire a slew of copycat cuts.
Robbie’s been in Bob Land since spring 2026; she debuted a clavicle-length bob with choppy bangs at a Chanel show. The bob has since evolved over the summer, growing longer (as hair tends to do!) and getting a teeny bit darker with some warm, golden tones. But we got a peek at Bob 2.0 at another Chanel show, this time in Sydney, Australia.
Though people typically go darker and warmer with their hair color come fall and winter, Robbie did the opposite and added a lot of cheerful brightness with interwoven shades of baby blonde, butter blonde, and pale gold with just a hint of dark rootiness to make the color look lived in. It’s a much much more “summery” blonde than we generally see come November, which is exactly what makes it feel so fresh.
